Tahini Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sesame seeds

  • 4-5 Tbsp. IGC's Butter Olive Oil

Directions:

  1. Add sesame seeds to a wide, dry saucepan over medium-low heat and toast, stirring constantly until the seeds become fragrant and very lightly colored (not brown), 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Add sesame seeds to a food processor then process until a crumbly paste forms, about 1 minute. Add 3 tablespoons of the olive oil then process for 2 to 3 minutes more, stopping to scrape the bottom and sides of the food processor a couple time. Add 1 tbsp. of olive oil and process until tahini becomes smooth and pour-able. 

Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 (15 oz can) chickpeas (soak overnight) 
  • 1/4 cup IGC's Meyer Lemon Balsamic
  • 1/4 cup IGC's Roasted Garlic & Mushroom (or any infused olive oil from our collection)
  • optional salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. With tahini mixture still in food processor add chickpeas and pulse.
  2. While pulsing add olive oil and balsamic. Continue to pulse until desired thickness, adding 1 tbsp. of water as needed. 
  3. Salt and pepper to taste, and Enjoy!
